Digital Twin Approach for Maintenance Management

Abstract After years of slightest attention to the environment, low productivity, and least rates technological innovation, construction sector has started a slow but in-depth review its statutes priorities. The ongoing ecological digital transition opens new opportunities connected implemental policies Industry 4.0—at now 5.0—and related enabling technologies. Opportunities that strongly reaffirm need for innovative, responsible, sustainable governance life cycle buildings, placing it in perspective Digital Twin approach. Starting from this scenario, paper presents some upgrade maintenance management model expressly aimed at optimizing activities operation phase which evident economic, environmental, social extra costs arise.
